✦ This character is a soft crossover / expy. While he shares some similarities to the source material, he has been completely rewritten to fit into the XIV lore and should be     considered a separate character. If you know the source, that's great! But please respect that this character is not the same as the one in the source. I'm always down to talk     about it or play it, but please do not discuss it while I'm in character. Thank you!✦ I will not interact with people under the age of 21. This is a hard rule for me. I like dabbling in mature topics and well, I'm just too old. It makes me uncomfortable.✦ This character may potentially be a Lore Bend. I enjoy taking themes and topics briefly mentioned and adding on to them or shuffling the timeline around. Due to this I am     considering this character a very mild lore bend. I personally do not like writing people who are super lore strict because of this. I'm not asking for lore breaks, I'm just asking     for some leeway when it comes to certain topics. If you view the lore as purely black and white we probably won't mesh well.✦ I not NOT tolerate Dickheads. Are you transphobic, homophobic, racist, sexist, xenophobic, ableist, misogynist, misandrist, and an overall bigot? Then congrats, you're a     Dickheadtm, stay away from me. If you aren't any of these things, then you have nothing to worry about. Now, if you're exploring these themes in character, that is a grey area I     will judge in the moment. Just remember the golden rule, treat others the way you want to be treated. Be respectful of others and respect will be given in return.✦ Please be patient. I am severely chronically ill in real life and sometimes I have no energy for long writing scenes. Even when I do have energy sometimes I can get brain fog     and can go quiet for a while. This is not me saying I'm disinterested in our scene, this is me actively trying to fight fatigue.✦ OOC discussion does not equal in character knowledge. This is called metagaming. If you tell me something about your character, mine will not know about it and it should be     vice versa. If your character needs something, say it in character. I will not make my character a mind reader and if communication cannot be both ooc and ic I will probably not     want to interact.✦ I will not change my characters to mesh with yours. Like real people, characters have unique personalities and sometimes they come across people they don't mesh with. And     that's OKAY. Not all interactions have to be friendly ones. However, demanding that I change something that my character(s) do for reasons that your character deems as 'better'     is not gonna fly. If its something like 'hey can you not smoke around me?' that's fine. But demanding I change a deeply rooted part of my character's history or personality is not.     This also links with the previous rule about metagaming. If our characters don't mesh, don't push it. Communicate both IC and OOC and just walk away. It's healthier for all of us.✦ I am not my characters nor are my characters me. Do not assume that what I write IC is equal to how I feel OOC. While writers naturally put a part of themselves in their     writing, the character you see and the person you don't are not the same entity. We do not share the same opinions and my characters may do things that I do not personally     agree with. If my character flirts or expresses aggression, do not assume that I feel the same way.✦ Real life should always be the top priority!!!! If things are happening OOC, please do not feel bad about leaving a scene. At the end of the day, roleplay is meant to be a fun     hobby and shouldn't interfere with things offline. I will never beg you or get mad at you if you have to leave abruptly. Please grant me the same courtesy.
